Your new employer
You will be joining a family-led business with a strong heritage of over 50 years, who are looking to expand its talented team at a time of growth. The Reservations Executive will become part of our client's small yet busy reservations and bookings team. Our client offers excellent company perks, including Life Insurance and a generous bonus system.
This organisation is located just a short drive from Glasgow, with great transport links available nearby. Due to our client being a 24-hour business, you will work on a shift basis to cover 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and be required to work one in every four weekends of the month. These shifts will include a mixture of early, late and standard day shifts. You may need to work additional hours or weekends to cover for large events.
Your new job responsibilities
As the new Reservationist, you will join a collaborative and supportive team to provide a professional and pleasant service to customers within the events, corporate and leisure markets. You’ll be the key point of contact for bookings, hires and reservations across the globe, ensuring that all clients are dealt with in a polite and timely manner.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We’re looking for a positive and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll strive to produce results within a fast-paced environment, whilst having the desire to learn new skills and be able to demonstrate excellent time management.
Having experience within the hospitality or tourism industry would be a bonus, as well as having great geography knowledge to confidently advise customers on bespoke reservation routes. Being able to speak a second l language would be a huge advantage for this role, however this is not essential.
