Stafffinders are partnering with a wide range of care homes,
nurseries and education units across Glasgow and surrounding areas, who are
seeking experienced PVG Kitchen Assistants to work on temporary assignments.
Your rate of pay and hours of work
As a PVG Kitchen Assistant, you will receive £10.42 per
hour, depending on assignment, with holiday pay accrued on top of the hourly
rate. Hours are flexible, with both weekday and weekend shifts available.
Responsibilities in your new role
As a Kitchen Porter, your role will primarily involve keeping the
kitchen clean and tidy, including the cutlery, plates and cooking equipment,
ensuring a fresh and clean working environment for the kitchen team. You will
ensure the dishwasher is filled and is operated in an efficient manner, as well
as assisting the Chef with basic food prep.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We’re on the lookout for experienced Kitchen Porters and Kitchen
Assistants, with the drive and determination to deliver outstanding service and
experiences within a kitchen environment. To be considered for this position,
you must have obtained a valid PVG.
You’ll demonstrate a passion for the hospitality industry and
possess a strong work ethic to work well within a team environment. As the
Kitchen Porter, you will have a proactive attitude and excellent communication
skills to fit into a friendly team of Chefs.
