Your rate of pay and hours of work
As part of this position, you will enjoy weekly compensation at an hourly rate of £16, complemented by accumulated holiday pay. This temporary role provides flexibility, with a diverse range of shifts available from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to tailor your schedule to match your preferences.
Your responsibilities in your new role
As the PVG Chef, your pivotal role within the residence involves crafting delightful meals for residents and actively participating in post-service cleanup. Close collaboration with fellow kitchen colleagues is imperative to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of all food orders, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations. Your culinary expertise will markedly elevate the dining experience for residents, ensuring it is not only seamless but enjoyable.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To excel in this role, it is essential to demonstrate a successful history as a Chef in a comparable environment and the ability to either have or acquire PVG/DBS checks. Possessing a valuable qualification, such as a Food Hygiene Level 2 certification, is advantageous. Your success will also rely on your capability to remain composed in busy and high-pressure situations, paired with a sharp eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
