Your rate of pay and hours of work

As part of this position, you'll be compensated weekly, at an hourly rate of £16, complemented by accrued holiday pay. This is a temporary role that provides flexibility, with a range of shifts available between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to select your schedule to align with your preferences.

 

Your responsibilities in your new role

In the capacity of the PVG Chef, you assume a pivotal role in the home, crafting delightful meals for residents and contributing to post-service cleanup. Close teamwork with fellow kitchen members is vital to guarantee the prompt and precise preparation of all food orders while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations. Your culinary expertise will markedly elevate the dining experience for residents, ensuring it is not only smooth but also thoroughly enjoyable. 

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To excel in this role, it is crucial to demonstrate a successful history as a Chef in a comparable setting and the ability to possess or acquire PVG/DBS checks. An advantageous credential is the certification of Food Hygiene Level 2. Your accomplishments will also depend on your ability to remain composed in busy and high-pressure situations, coupled with a sharp eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills.
