Job Description

Are you an experienced PVG Cook with creative flair and a positive, enthusiastic attitude? Would you like the opportunity to join a reputable venue in Glasgow City Centre? Embark on a highly rewarding and flexible role as their new PVG Chef, making a huge impact on peoples lives daily. 

Stafffinders are currently on the lookout for dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic PVG Cooks, for a variety of upcoming temporary jobs in healthcare, education and care home units. 


Your rate of pay 

This position offers excellent flexibility and a generous salary of £13-£14 per hour, including holiday pay. Hours of work will vary throughout the week. 


Responsibilities in your new role

Your daily responsibilities will include efficient meal preparation for dietary requirements, as well as preparing any snacks or beverages throughout the working day to a high standard. As our new PVG Cook, you will also maintain and replenish all food/kitchen stock whilst co-operating with the team. 


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

We’d love to hear from applicants who have had previous experience within a similar role and worked within a friendly and supportive environment. You will be comfortable working within a fast-paced kitchen and have the drive and determination to learn on the job, whilst always delivering exceptional customer service. 

You will be confident in bringing your creativity and new ideas to the table, being a key team player and communicating well with all members of the home. Candidates should have strong communication skills, speak English to a high standard and have great personal presentation.
