We are currently on the search for a talented PVG-certified Chef to join our client’s team in a care home in Alloa, where you will play an integral role in providing delicious meals to their residents.
Your rate of pay and hours of work
As a member of our client's team, you will be compensated with a competitive hourly wage of £14.00 while working part-time. You will also have the opportunity to choose from a range of shift options as they become available on a flexible basis.
Responsibilities within your new role
As part of our client’s team, you will take on an integral role where your key responsibilities include preparing daily menus in line with health and safety regulations, ensuring all dietary requirements are adhered to and managing stock levels, replenishing ingredients when required and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is maintained and clean throughout the day. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that all food orders are prepared on time as well as working with the Health Care Assistant team to prepare meals that meet residents' needs. It is essential that you work efficiently while meeting targets in a highly demanding environment.
Your experience, personality and qualifications
We are eager to speak to chefs who have strong experience as a chef within similar environments. As an individual, you should have excellent attention to detail whilst having a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards your role. You must be able to meet targets in a highly demanding environment whilst upholding hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
A valid PVG certification is essential for this role.
