Responsibilities as the Portfolio Manager
In your role, you'll optimise portfolio income by skillfully managing rent reviews, lease renewals, and crafting community-focused leases. You'll handle valuations, negotiations, and rent instructions while overseeing performance and cost considerations. Fulfilling landlord obligations, you'll uphold tenant commitments and ensure health and safety compliance. You'll create systems to minimise risks to infrastructure, manage properties, oversee finances, and identify revenue opportunities. Compliance with laws, best practices and timely documentation will be key.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To excel in this position, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and be currently working towards your MRICS qualification (or already be in possession of this). You should demonstrate adeptness in managing stakeholders, showcase strong negotiation prowess, and embody a proactive, collaborative team spirit. A full UK driver’s licence would be advantageous when applying.
