You will be joining an outstanding and expanding, family-led business with an impressive heritage of over 50 years. They operate 24-hours a day in the luxury, executive transport market, both here in Scotland and globally.
This organisation is located just a short drive from Glasgow, with great transport links available nearby.
Responsibilities in your new job
The Night Controller job is a vital position within the 24-hour operation of the organisation. You will be taking reservations, quoting for hires, communicating with our members of the team and affiliates, and generally ensuring the smooth running of the business overnight.
This is a permanent, part time position, with shifts 20:15 – 08:15 three nights in every eight, on a rolling pattern basis.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Previous experience in the events/hospitality/tourism industry would be a distinct advantage in this position, allowing for a great understanding of the luxury market and excellence in customer service.
You should be a positive and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll strive to produce results within a fast-paced environment, whilst having the desire to learn new skills and be able to demonstrate excellent time management.
Ideally, you will have an excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland so you can confidently advise your clients and will definitely be fluent in spoken and written English. As the client operates globally, a second language would make you a great asset to the already multi-lingual team.
