Live-in Hotel Receptionist

This is a full-time, permanent role offering 40 hour per week over five days, with early shifts of 6:30am to 3pm and late shifts of 2:30pm to 11pm. Earn a competitive salary of £10.30 p/h.

Your new job responsibilities 

Reporting directly to the Reception Manager, you will take on an integral role within the hotel as Hotel Receptionist, greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly manner. As Hotel Receptionist, you will help our guests create lasting memories as soon as they arrive, showing them to their room, helping them plan their stay as well as suggesting activities for the broad clientele. 

Being knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and what’s on offer in the surrounding areas will be a speciality of yours, as well as being proficient in organising lunch and dinner reservations, spa bookings and assisting with general enquiries.  


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

As the new Hotel Receptionist, you will be friendly and conscientious, with a positive and proactive attitude. You will be able to cope in a fast-paced and busy work environment and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism both face to face and on the phone.  

Ideally, you will have similar experience as a Receptionist, have a good understanding of hotel operations and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Having great knowledge of computers/systems would be highly advantageous as well as the ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
