Are you an experienced Kitchen Porter keen to evolve your hospitality career? Our client is on the lookout for a driven and ambitious Kitchen Porter who is looking to embark on a career-enhancing role within a popular Edinburgh pub, with the chance to progress to Chef level.
Your new employer
A popular rustic pub in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre, this venue attracts a variety of clientele thanks to its broad menu and hearty meals enjoyed by all. This pub is decorated with quirky and unique memorabilia and boasts a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
In joining our client, you will receive regular generous tips, meals on shift and be offered the pension scheme. You will have the chance to work flexible hours, which can be 4 or 5 days a week, and a total of 30 to 50 hours.
Responsibilities in your new role
As the new Kitchen Porter, you will be confident working unsupervised in a fast-paced kitchen. You may have the opportunity to assist the Chefs with basic mis en place to gain experience within this role. Our client's venue features a front-facing kitchen therefore experience within this style of kitchen would be advantageous but not essential.

You will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team environment, whilst having a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills to fit into a friendly team of Chefs.
