Responsibilities within your new role

  • Advising on, configuring and running complex data imports
  • Managing and reporting routine code backups
  • Helping with reporting tools such as BI360, SSRS or Crystal Reports
  • SAP B1 BOYUM\BEAS customisations
  • Managing and Assisting with SSIS Package design, up to and including some C# coding
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of SQL databases, objects, and code including the Peak Data Warehouse.
  • Technical documentation of: MS T-SQL code; HANA SQL code; SSIS code; and SAP B1 BOYUM and BEAS code.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The following skills are essential requirements for this role:

  • T-SQL and/or Hana SQL.
  • SQL Server Administration, some knowledge of maintenance plans, backups, and SQL Server Agent are required though training will be given.
  • Visual Studio, some exposure to the interface is required.
  • .NET programming languages. Including C# to a good basic level.
  • Error trapping and handling techniques, preferably in SQL and C#.
  • Understanding of debugging techniques.
