Your new job responsibilities 

The Head Pastry Chef role will see you taking ownership of the pastry section of the kitchen and involve the preparation of pastries, cakes and desserts. You will work with the Exec Chef to create, develop and maintain an inspiring recipe book using the very best of local and national natural resources and ingredients. You’ll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. 

As Head Pastry Chef, you will be a real Pastry wizard and strive to create the best Afternoon Tea in the city, for all F&B operations within this renowned hotel, as well as their newly refurbished spa. The hotel prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients to provide guests with the best possible experience with desserts, providing the final masterpiece of a remarkable dining experience. 


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

A refined attention to detail, passion for pastry and admirable creative flair are the key qualities we’d love to see in our new Head Pastry Chef. You will have experience within a similar role and have the drive to deliver exceptional experiences. 

Above all else, we are looking for a creative Pastry Chef with the drive and ambition to successfully support a well-established kitchen combined with supporting the journey of younger Chefs to create a strong, dedicated team.
