Responsibilities within your new role
As the new Head Chef, you will take pride in overseeing the entire kitchen to ensure that this runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely and collaboratively with the kitchen team to encourage them to reach their full potential, through a consistent and proactive approach. Your role will also involve supporting all members of the kitchen to deliver exceptional, high-quality dishes in the restaurant, whilst supporting and encouraging the communication of compliance requirements to all team members. You will work closely with the General Manager to uphold the fantastic reputation this hotel restaurant always holds and exceed customer expectations.
This role entails a shift pattern of 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Ideally, the new Head Chef will have at least 10+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior position in Kitchen. Flair, passion and positivity are key and being able to work under pressure and under your own initiative will support you in excelling in this role.
