Responsibilities within your new role
As the new Head Chef, you will take pride in overseeing the entire kitchen to ensure that this runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Your role will also involve supporting the full kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional high-quality dishes in the restaurant, whilst supporting and encouraging the communication of compliance requirements to all team members. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to uphold the fantastic reputation this hotel restaurant always holds and exceed customer expectations.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will display a calm and relaxed approach when faced with stressful situations or while in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You will have at least 2 years in a similar position, with experience in fine dining, ideally within Michelin or 5* venues. A proven track record of managing large teams across multiple venues is essential, along with experience in achieving your costing target and creating on-trend, exciting menus.
