Responsibilities within your new role

As the General Manager, your role is to run the venue as if it were you very own, showing a high level of dedication and passion. You will engage with central support functions, internal and external stakeholders, and local suppliers to ensure seamless operations. This includes nurturing sales growth while maintaining a keen eye on cost control to drive profitability.

Your responsibility extends to consistently delivering excellent customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys a truly remarkable experience. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in managing service standards and fostering staff development to maintain a highly motivated and skilled team.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate with previous experience managing a busy venue with multiple concurrent events. A genuine passion for working collaboratively within a team and exceptional leadership skills are essential. Effective communication, both internally and externally, is a must, ensuring seamless interactions at all levels. Ideally, you will have a strong commercial awareness to drive business success. Flexibility is key, as this position requires the availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on the needs of the business.
