This organisation is located just a short drive from Glasgow, with great transport links available nearby. 

This position is Monday to Friday, 8am –5pm. You will be required to work overtimes to meet the needs of the business and be open to working on an on call rota which could cover weekends. 

 

Responsibilities in your new role 

In joining as the new Funeral Services Operative, you will become part of a close-knit team who care for bereaved families throughout Glasgow and the surrounding area. The Funeral Services Operative will take on an integral role within the company, working closely with the Funeral Director to work in the mortuary whilst providing unrivalled funeral services and pallbearing in a smooth and professional manner. 

Within your role, you will assist in bringing deceased into care who have been in hospitals, their own homes or nursing homes, delivering required documents, and helping the Funeral Director on the day of funerals. Due to the nature of this role, you will provide only the highest level of personal care and customer service to the clients at all times. 

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications 

We are seeking a caring, friendly and professional individual to take on the role of Funeral Services Operative, who is keen to make a real difference and provide outstanding customer care. Due to the requirements of this role, we are ideally looking to speak to applicants who have had experience in a similar role. 

You will take pride in your appearance and be able to demonstrate a great level of physical fitness, due to some heavy lifting required. A driver's license is also essential for this position.
