Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to join a well-established client based in Hillington as their new Forklift Driver? You will be joining a close-knit team who are focused on training their staff and who support a collaborative working environment. 

Your rate of pay and hours of work 

In joining as a Forklift Driver, you will earn £11 to £12 per hour and be paid on a weekly basis.  

Regarding your hours of work, you will be required on the back shift schedule of Monday to Thursday 2pm – 11pm and Friday 2pm – 8pm. Whilst back shift is preferred at this time, there could be the potential to work day shifts in the future.  

Responsibilities in your new role 

Within your role, you will primarily be picking orders via Reach forklift operating. You will also take responsibility for packing orders ready for delivery and ensuring stock control is accurate at all times. As the Forklift Driver, you will ensure that the equipment used is maintained and stored correctly, whilst complying with health and safety regulations and requirements. 

Your personality, experience and qualifications 

Ideally, you will have experience within a similar Forklift Driving or Warehouse role, however, our client can provide the training required if necessary.  

You’ll be a hardworking, reliable and diligent individual with the ability to reach targets in a fast-paced working environment. You should have excellent attention to detail and possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, combined with strong communication skills in order to work effectively in a team. 

Reach certification is not essential for this role due to training being provided.
