Responsibilities in your new role

You will play a key role in supporting the reconciliation and thorough review of daily financial activities. This includes offering assistance in Sales and Accounts Receivable functions, as well as supporting the Purchase Ledger and Accounts Payable processes. Moreover, you'll be involved in the preparation and processing of Payroll, as well as handling Subcontractors and CIS-related matters. In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage daily tasks such as monitoring the finance mailbox, maintaining records through filing and scanning, and handling credit account application forms and supplier questionnaires.

 

Your experience, personality and qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have pertinent experience working within a finance department, along with strong communication and organisational abilities. Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office, is essential. While familiarity with Sage software is advantageous, it's not a strict requirement. Numeracy skills are a must, as well as adept clerical and administrative capabilities. Additionally, your ability to collaborate effectively within a team will be highly valued.
