Responsibilities within your new role

As the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for all menu planning, including crafting themed and seasonal menus that capture current trends. You will work with local suppliers to obtain the best quality products for the best price. To be successful you will strive to exceed revenue targets while also minimising wastage and keeping costs under control. You will ensure that all services run smoothly, including room service, banqueting and restaurant service. It will be your duty to train, plan and run multiple teams, ensuring all goals align. You will select talented chefs to create a high-quality kitchen brigade in order to reduce staff turnover and maintain efficient costing.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will display a calm and relaxed approach when faced with stressful situations or while in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You will have at least 2 years in a similar position, with experience in fine dining and large-sized banqueting events. A proven track record of managing large teams across multiple venues is essential, along with experience in achieving your costing target and creating on-trend, exciting menus.
