Your working hours 

Your hours will vary week to week within this role, following the below structure: 

  • Week One – 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45pm to 3.45pm on a Friday  

  • Week Two – 9.15am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.15am to 5.00pm on a Friday 


Responsibilities in your new role 

As the new Hire Desk Controller, you’ll take on a fundamental role at our clients head office in Glasgow. You will work closely with the companies' key customers to ensure that business is carried out effectively and efficiently. In your position, you’ll demonstrate excellent communication skills to all internal and external stakeholders, building strong and genuine business relationships at all times. 

Within this role, you will be proactive in operating and maintaining spreadsheets whilst taking regular customer calls to deal with enquiries. You will be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy to ensure detailed information is recorded correctly and produce informative weekly reports for the business. As the Hire Desk Controller, you will also be responsible for creating contracts and authorising invoices based on agreements issed by the customer.  


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

To make a real impact within this company, we are ideally looking to speak to proactive and enthusiastic individuals who have significant experience working within a fast-paced working environment, particularly from an administration or accounts background. You will thrive under pressure and be able to effectively prioritise your own workload to meet the demands of the business.  

Ideally, you will have excellent attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in order to build strong and genuine business relationships. Experience of analysing information and creating business reports would be highly advantageous for this role. If you also have proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, this would be beneficial due to the nature of this role.
