Your rate of pay and hours of work
This is a temporary assignment with shifts available throughout Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, and weekend, 10am-5pm or 5pm-10pm. The pay rate is £15.00 per hour, paid weekly with holiday pay accrued on top.
Responsibilities in your new role
As the Chef de Partie, you will take pride in preparing meals for customers at an upscale venue. You will be responsible for creating delicious dishes in line with the venue’s high standards while adhering to health and safety regulations. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that orders are prepared on time and in accordance with the venue’s policies. You should be proactive in identifying ways to improve service delivery while catering for conferences, private parties, in-house catering and sports events.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You should have a minimum of 6 months of Chef de Partie experience and have excellent knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques, as well as health and hygiene practices within a kitchen setting. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal whilst being personable with colleagues and displaying professionalism at all times.
