Located near the idyllic banks of Loch Lomond, our client is known for its luxury rooms, breathtaking suites and incredible lodges. Equipped with a Golf Course, Spa and event rooms for special occasions, this renowned property has long garnered an exceptional reputation among locals and tourists.
Featuring multiple restaurants and bars throughout the property, this venue offers a fantastic selection of dishes and speciality drinks for a large clientele, accommodating couples, families, friends and businesses alike.
As well as working within a stunning property near Loch Lomond with plenty of sights right on your doorstep, as Chef De Partie, you will also receive a competitive salary of £24,000 plus paid overtime and tips. This role also offers excellent career progression for Chefs and allows you to enjoy a Leisure Club membership.
You will be required to work 5 days out of 7, totaling 40 hours per week.
As the Chef De Partie, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality, supporting the kitchen team to deliver a high standard of service and customer satisfaction during service periods.
You will lead daily briefings and handovers, ensuring proficiency in the tasks of the Apprentice and Commis Chefs by organising daily workload, delegating tasks and coordinating breaks within your section. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and feedback to the junior team, to support improved performance and on-the-job training for new employees.
The Chef De Partie will also complete daily food hygiene checks and due diligence records, being aware of allergens, stock control and recording of wastage. You will understand and adhere to our People Policies to ensure the Company is compliant, whilst driving your own personal development using support functions where necessary.
To be considered for this position, you must have strong experience as a Chef De Partie, ideally in high volume and fast-paced kitchens. You will have the ability to work well in a team whilst showing a genuine interest and passion for the hospitality industry.
The successful candidates should also have strong communication skills to ensure effective connections between the kitchen team and front of house team. As an individual you should have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to meet targets in a highly demanding environment.
Above all else, you should have an ambitious personality combined with a team-based work ethic.
