Your rate of pay and hours of work
In this role, you'll work a flexible shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, between 7am and 6pm, with a 3-day on, 3-day off rolling rota. Your hourly pay rate for this position is a competitive £13.
This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent after just one month. As a permanent team member, you'll enjoy a generous annual salary of £25,000, plus the added perk of overtime pay at 1.5x the standard rate.
Responsibilities in your new role
The primary duties of this role include the preparation of meals for residents, overseeing stock management, assigning tasks to kitchen assistants, upholding kitchen cleanliness and safety, and ensuring the application of sanitation protocols within the kitchen.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To be successful in this role, we're looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of one year of chef experience in a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
