Your rate of pay and hours of work
In this role, you will receive weekly pay at a rate of £16 per hour, supplemented by accrued holiday pay. This is a temporary position that offers flexibility, featuring a variety of shifts from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, seven days a week so you can choose your schedule to suit your preferences.
Your responsibilities in your new role
As the PVG Chef, you play a crucial role within the residence, preparing delightful meals for residents and participating in post-service cleanup. Collaborating closely with fellow kitchen colleagues is essential to ensure the prompt and precise preparation of all food orders, strictly following health and safety regulations. Your culinary mastery will significantly enhance the dining experience for residents, ensuring it is both seamless and thoroughly delightful.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To thrive in this position, showcasing a proven track record as a Chef in a similar environment and the capacity to either possess or obtain PVG/DBS checks is crucial. Holding a beneficial qualification, such as a Food Hygiene Level 2 certification, is advantageous. Your achievements will also be contingent on your capacity to maintain composure in bustling and high-pressure scenarios, coupled with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
