Unique opportunity newly available for a talented Chef De Partie to join a reputable venue located near the bonny banks of Loch Lomond. This is a full-time, permanent role for an experienced Chef who is passionate about serving high-quality cuisine within a renowned Scottish property.

Benefits of your new role

As Chef De Partie, you will earn a competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000 with generous tips distributed to the team at Christmas. Tips usually come in at around £2,000 each, allowing you earn a little extra money just when you need it!

You will work 6am to 3pm on 5 our of 7 days throughout the week, whilst also enjoying complimentary meals on duty. This business also runs on reduced hours throughout the winter season, including Christmas Day and the whole month of January, giving you time to relax and reset for another year ahead.

 

Your new job responsibilities

The key responsibility of the Chef De Partie is to fully support the Head Chef with the preparation of hot and cold food to ensure breakfast is served to the highest standard. You will be in charge of running sections within the kitchen during service whilst assisting with stock control and identifying new methods for improving the overall food service.

As the Chef De Partie, it is your responsibility to ensure a consistent high level of food service at all times, through knowledge of menu items, awareness of commodities used and cooking methods. You will also ensure that kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned regularly, whilst making sure health and hygiene procedures are followed.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have strong experience as a Chef De Partie, ideally in high volume and fast-paced kitchens. You will have the ability to work well in a team whilst showing a genuine interest in and passion for the hospitality industry.

Above all else, you should have an ambitious personality combined with a team-based work ethic.
Due to the location of this role, a driving licence is highly advantageous.
