Stafffinders are delighted to be partnering with one of Edinburgh city centres foremost, authentic bar venues, as they are seeking an outstanding Assistant Bar Manager to help lead their team.

Your new job responsibilities  

As a key member of bar management, key responsibilities will include focusing on the smooth day to day operation; dealing promptly and professionally with any complaints; training and development of staff; and deputising in the Pub Managers absence 

Shifts will be 5/7 including weekends, approximately 45 hours per week. 

You will report directly to the Pub Manager/Director and oversee a small but dedicated team of 6 to 8 colleagues. 

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications 

Ideally, you will have worked in a similar level of high-volume pub environment, as a Supervisor or Manager. Knowledge of alcohol licensing is essential, as is food hygiene and health and safety. 

As an individual you should have excellent attention to detail, whilst possessing a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You should also have great communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
