Job Description

We are working with a leading online retailer based in Glasgow, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers. We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join their team and oversee their Amazon accounts while earning a generous £45,000 to £55,000 per annum.

 

Responsibilities within your new role as the Account Manager

  • Manage all Amazon merchant and vendor accounts, including international ones
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost sales, improve product rankings, and increase traffic
  • Use tools like Helium 10 for market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels in all accounts for consistent product availability
  • Work with the procurement team to create accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies as needed
  • Develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies
  • Optimise product listings for better visibility and conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the PPC manager to enhance sales and visibility through Amazon ads
  • Analyse sales data and key metrics to make informed decisions
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies and guidelines
  • Supervise and develop sales assistants to maximise performance

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 5 years of proven experience in Amazon account management and e-commerce. They should possess a strong understanding of Amazon’s platform, algorithms, and best practices, along with proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, Helium 10, and other relevant tools. Excellent analytical skills are essential for interpreting data and trends for reporting. Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and high organisation are crucial. The candidate must be able to work with a results-driven approach focused on achieving sales and profitability goals.
