Stafffinders are working in partnership with one of our well-established Marketing clients and searching for a talented Account Manager who thrives on building long-term client relationships.

Are you highly motivated with proven success in acquiring new business, opening new doors, account management, nurturing relationships and ultimately growing the business? We are particularly interested in candidates with a personable approach who leave a lasting impression for all the right reasons! Someone who also has a good background in sales would flourish in this position.

Our client has been established since 1997 and is currently the only business in the UK providing niche marketing and promotional solutions specifically to the creative industry on a global platform. Our client is based in the Glasgow area; however, this position can be worked remotely anywhere from home.

 

Your rate of pay & hours of work

Salary is approx. £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (doe) basic, with highly achievable bonus opportunities.

The main working schedule is Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, however, there is a degree of flexibility to suit both the applicant’s preference/needs of the business. Part time or full time applicants are encouraged to apply.

 

New Job Responsibilities

  • Gaining experience and showcasing in-depth knowledge of the industry, products, companies, and competitors.
  • Researching new customers to supply and account management of existing clients.
  • Have a good blend of both sales/account management, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Self-manage and take responsibility for identifying and reaching out to new clients in the creative sector
  • Using both telephone & email to engage with customers
  • Booking screenshare demos of the service via a zoom call
  • Selling the service on the zoom call, closing the deal either on the call - or positioning the prospect to sign up online or on a follow up call.
  • Be very well organised and self-manage own Salesforce CRM account - building pipelines and tracking prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Call and book demo appointments from marketing lists supplied as well as self-sourced leads
  • Be prepared to work in a small team with all that that entails and help to build the team for the future.
  • Be hungry for success and keen to progress within the company to take on new responsibilities.
  • Cross-functional teamwork, to ensure supplier availability and customer demand are aligned.
  • Relationship development & management at all levels

 

Your Experience, Qualifications and Personality

  • IT Literacy and the ability to work with ERP systems
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar Account Management role
  • Excellent skills in acquiring and developing long term relationships
  • Resilience
  • Adaptability to move in line with changing markets and demand.
  • Presentation, negotiation, and numeracy skills.
  • Project management skills including an ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and diverse resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, end-end project work and problem-solving.
