Clinical Data Programmer Jobs
Clinical data programmer jobs are responsible for:
- coordinating and monitoring the flow of clinical data into the computer database.
- analyzing and evaluating data, recognising inconsistencies and initiating the resolution of data problems.
- implementing data management plans designed to meet project and protocol deadlines.
- Consult in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols, and case report forms.
Pathway into clinical data programming
In the life sciences sector, clinical data programming skills are in high demand. Prior to entering this high growth industry, clinical data programmer jobs require a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent and usually a MSc or PhD is often preferred. Experience of pharmaceutical programming in a clinical research area is beneficial.
