Channel Sales Executive Jobs

Channel Sales Executives are responsible for managing all facets of business development, with a focus on sales revenue and lead generation. Channel Sales executives are often involved in the liaising between their organisation and subsequent channel partners to maximise the utility of the partnership.

Daily duties carried out by Channel Sales Executive

Tasks will be carried out daily in this position includes a mixture of the following:

  • Analysing, identifying and developing relationships with new channel partners, as well as overseeing their integration.
  • Monthly reporting on sales KPIs within channel partners, working to sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales Director.
  • Work closely with all business departments to encourage cross selling culture.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop channel marketing plans, providing feedback and evaluating success of such plans.

Skills and Personal Traits Required

To become a successful Channel Sales Executive, candidates must possess excellent organisational and time management skills. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal skills as the ability to build strong relationships with partners is essential in the role. Furthermore, sales executives in this position must be highly motivated, driven individuals who are willing to go above and beyond to secure a sale.

Salary and Working Hours

The average salary for a channel sales executive will range between £40,000-£44,000 per year, fluctuating with experience and organisation. In terms of working hours, channel sales execs can expect to work between 38-42 hours per week, with some client cases demanding longer hours and overtime.
