Trainee Administrator Jobs 

Trainee administrator jobs work on computers to produce neat and accurate text documents. In addition to typing/word processing for reports and letters, they are responsible for a range of other tasks. There are no formal entry requirements, although some employers may expect GCSEs/Nationals/S-grades (A-C/1-3) in English and administration. Good keyboard skills are essential and additional computer knowledge, particularly of Word.

Trainee administrator jobs work standard office hours, from Monday to Friday.  Flexitime and shift work is also possible with some employers. Temporary contracts are common and often lead to permanent employment.

There is a wide range of vocational qualifications available in this area for office juniors.

In some companies, it might be possible to move into a specialist area, such as conveyancing, court work or legal cashiering.
