Executive Assistant Jobs

Executive Assistant jobs will work very closely with the Chief Executive or Chairman of the company. Executive assistant jobs will have experience of diary management and organising travel and accommodation for the Chief Executive. This may be national and international including visa requirements. Other duties required by Executive Assistant jobs will be the organisation of board meetings, inviting board members to the meetings and researching and preparation of information relating to the agenda.

Taking minutes at board meetings, typing up of minutes and actioning follow ups for use at the next board meeting. The Executive Assistant will screen all telephone calls, emails and other correspondence and action where necessary on behalf of their CE. Executive Assistant jobs will be responsible for preparation and delivery of PowerPoint presentations at board meetings when required. 

Executive Assistant jobs will often take on board personal projects as required by the CE which could be anything from organizing a pilot for the CE's private plane to organizing major events abroad. Overseeing junior members of staff including personal assistants and secretaries may also be a requirement of the Executive Assistant. 

The Executive Assistant jobs will have an excellent command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Executive Assistant jobs will be able to prioritise their workloads, work calmly under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines when necessary. Tact and discretion are a very important part of an Executive Assistant job as they can often be dealing highly sensitive documents.
