IT Auditing Jobs
IT Auditors are primarily responsible for reviewing and analysing an organisation's internal IT systems and operations, in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the technology network. As an IT Auditor, you will therefore also be responsible for determining the potential risks within the companies internal practices and suggest recommendations to improve the system.
Professional IT Auditors are required to create detailed audit reports whilst liaising with their clients to discuss new procedures and practices that will diminish the issues and weaknesses found in their current systems.
What skills are required to become an IT Auditor?
In order to enter the IT Auditor sector, organisations may request that you have obtained a degree in information technology, information systems or a similar field. You will be able to understand and interpret IT jargon whilst having the ability to communicate findings effectively to a number of different parties. IT Auditors benefit from keeping up with technology trends and new systems to provide high-quality services to clients and identify relevant improvements.
