However, for most welder jobs overtime is common, and most welder jobs work much longer hours. Welder jobs may include working in factories or workshops, or in a wide range of locations on site - some welder jobs may work outdoors.
Welder jobs start as trainee or a welders apprentices and salaries start at around £12,000. Skilled welder jobs, specialist welders can earn up to £40,000.
Welder jobs require good hand-to-eye co-ordination, good concentration, the ability to work unsupervised, the ability to work in a team.
