Spa Therapist Jobs

Spa Therapists can be required across a variety of venues including Hotels, Beauty Salons and Health Spas, providing a wide range of treatments, massages and therapies. You will be responsible for greeting customers, communicating various treatments and customising each guest experience to reflect their needs. Day to day duties will include treating muscular pain and tension, as well as providing various forms of massages.

It is essential for Spa Therapists to be approachable, patient and respectful with all customers and be able to represent the business in a professional and friendly manner. Having the ability to recommend additional services combined with upselling the spa products will also aid towards repeat customers and loyalty to the business.

What do you need to become a Spa Therapist?

Clients looking for a talented Spa Therapist would likely request High School or College qualifications and strong knowledge of physiology. There are many other advantageous certifications that could boost your chances of securing a Spa Therapist role, including First Aid and CPR to obtaining a licence in Massage Therapy. You must be able to stand for long time periods, be able to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service skills.
