Human Resources Manager Jobs 

As the UK hospitality industry undergoes an extensive period of flux, many hotel establishments are looking to take someone on a temporary basis, before employing them permanently.  The value of the Human Resources Managers to hotels cannot be overestimated as they will oversee staff retention whilst identifying new talent.

Human resources manager jobs in catering have the unenviable task of trying to ensure that the employees remain motivated and committed and that consequently the turnover is kept to a minimum. 

The human resources manager will be responsible for recruiting and sourcing both staff and management and will be expected to anticipate, as far as is possible, the peaks and troughs throughout the year.  Excellent communication skills are required to deal with a varying caseload as is a clear understanding of all HR practices and employment legislation. 

The training and development of staff is also a vital function in HR Manager Hotel jobs and can significantly affect the profitability if managed properly.  The human resources manager will be in regular contact with all other heads of department to ensure a cost-effective deployment of staff.
