Investment Accounting jobs cover a wide range of disciplines including insurance, mortgages, pensions, taxation, shares and other forms of investment. It includes the management and analysis of accounts and you may be responsible for creating investment strategies in order to boost the growth of capital for a variety of clients. As an Investment Accountant, you will be required to perform detailed reports of annual financial statements in order to identify recommended investment strategies for future business practices. 

How do I qualify for an Investment Accounting role?

The majority of Investment Accounting positions will require a relevant Bachelor's degree, ideally in accounting or a similar subject such as business or finance. Most clients will also prefer if accounting professionals have an ACCA or CIMA qualification, whilst being able to demonstrate mathematical skills and advanced excel knowledge. Investment Accountants will have proficient organisational skills and must be able to communicate to a strong level in both verbal and written settings.
