Agencies or client-side opportunities are equally present, but agencies tend to recruit ambitious, driven and talented Digital PR Managers to join Digital PR Team.


Digital PR Manager Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital PR lead on activities such as creating new business proposals, oversee media promotional activity, and proactively grow clients’ media horizons.

  • Plan and manage your own campaigns, including negotiation and budget management, and play a key role in presentations.

  • Work with account managers to deliver successful digital PR campaigns.

  • Develop an extensive network of publishers, editor and journalist contacts. Deep-dive into earned media (as opposed to paid for) Assist clients reach their SEO objectives through link building.

  • Forecast and achieve return on investment.

  • Report on campaign achievements and statistics.

  • Get heavily involved in content production to craft stories with media appeal into campaigns.

  • Integrate digital PR activities with SEO and Content Marketing strategies.


Though not a pre-requisite, coming from an agency background can deepen your experiences, although PR in any sector will put you at an advantage.
