Sales administrator jobs will be required to provide administrative support to a team of sales people and therefore may have a varied and interesting workload. Sales administrator jobs will take calls from customers on behalf of the sales team and will make appointments in their respective diaries for a visit from the sales team. Sales administrator jobs will also take enquiries direct from customers and may give information with regard to products, availability and prices on behalf of the sales team. Sales administrator jobs will be able to take off price lists, reports and quotations from the company database on behalf of the sales team.
Sales administrator jobs will update the database daily with regards to price change and customers details etc. Sales administrator jobs may be responsible for organising the distribution and delivery of goods to the customer including after service care. Sales administrator jobs will have excellent communication skills, organisational skills and be able to deal tactfully and efficiently with customers on the telephone. The sales administrator must be confident with figures, have good negotiation skills and be very proficient in databases and specific packages. Sales administrator jobs will have fast accurate data entry and typing speeds and must be able to type in information as it is being relayed on the telephone from customers.
