A Lifeguard has a crucial job, ensuring the safety of individuals at aquatic facilities such as beaches, pools, or water parks. The Lifeguard?s primary job responsibility is to monitor the water and its surrounding areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly in emergencies. This includes identifying potential hazards, enforcing safety rules, and taking action to prevent accidents before they occur. In the event of an emergency, Lifeguards are trained to provide immediate assistance, including rescuing swimmers in distress, administering first aid, and performing CPR if necessary. They need to stay vigilant and focused throughout their shift, maintaining constant awareness of the pool or beach area under their supervision. 


Becoming a lifeguard typically requires meeting certain prerequisites. This includes being a proficient swimmer, passing a swimming test, and completing certification courses in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid. Furthermore, physical fitness is important in a Lifeguard job, as they may need to perform strenuous activities such as swimming long distances, carrying individuals to safety, or administering CPR.
