Financial tasks include budgeting and invoicing, while marketing efforts focus on promoting services and generating business. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for handling client relations, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Becoming a Catering Manager To become a catering manager, you should pursue a degree in culinary arts or hospitality management. Gain experience in entry-level roles, such as server or event coordinator, and develop skills in organisation, communication, and leadership. Progress to supervisory roles and consider certifications like ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE). Network within the industry and apply for Catering Manager positions in hotels, restaurants, or event planning companies.
