Our Charity Work
We are passionate about supporting our local community, that's why every second year, we choose a different charity close to our hearts to sponsor in as many ways that we can to help them improve the lives of others.
This year, we are proud to announce that our new charity for 2020-2022 is MND Scotland! MND is the leading charity in Scotland providing care and support to those affected by Motor Neurone Disease, a rapidly progressing terminal illness which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This can cause someone to lose the ability to talk, walk, eat, drink or breathe unaided and can also trigger behavioural changes. The remarkable team at MND Scotland provide incredible support to improve the quality of life of those affected, and we are delighted to be collaborating with such an amazing charity.
In 2016 and 2017, we were honoured to support Cash for Kids and were proud to raise over £3,000, which helped local children realise their potential and lead fulfilling lives. Between 2018 and 2019, the Stafffinders team chose Recovery Across Mental Health, a charity which supports over 4,000 people across Scotland with mental health issues.
In support of our chosen charities, we volunteer our time, organise fundraising events and promote through our channels, encouraging a boost in their reach and appeal. When combined with ongoing financial support, this significantly improves the quality of our partnership. From fundraising events such as bake sales, 5k runs and dress down days, to social media promotions, we provide a fantastic range of support and dedicate our time to our chosen charity.
Message from Morag McGown - MND Scotland’s Corporate Partnerships Manager
Firstly I’d like to thank all the staff who voted for MND Scotland. We’re very excited to be working with Stafffinders over the next two years.
MND Scotland is here to support every person affected by MND in Scotland. Through our vital services we help families when they need it the most. Our support includes grants to assist with the financial burden that comes with MND, our advocacy team who stand with people to resolve any issues they are facing, and counselling to help families cope with the many emotions that come with a diagnosis of a terminal illness.
We also invest millions of pounds into ground-breaking MND research in Scotland and across the UK, to help take us a step closer to a cure for this devastating disease. We campaign and raise awareness to help improve the lives of people affected, and to provide hope for a world without MND.
We couldn’t do any of this without the support from local communities. This partnership with Stafffinders is therefore a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of MND and to raise funds to help us continue supporting people in Scotland.
I can’t wait to get started to see what we can achieve and I’m here to help every step of the way. If you want to find out more about MND Scotland please visit www.mndscotland.org.uk.

We are working hard to reduce our paper usage in the office. For example, we recently implemented an advanced online timesheet, S-Hub, to eliminate our use of paper timesheets and to make the payment process easier for our candidates.
Stafffinders always aims to treat everyone fairly including clients, candidates and employees. Our company displays respect to our customers and our employees strive to work with ethical standards.
We are committed to diversity within the workplace and we aim to recruit employees based on their skills and ability to do the job. We are dedicated to developing and enhancing each employee’s skills and capabilities through training.
