Personal Licence Holder Training

This is the qualification that you must do if you want to apply for a Personal Licence.

Who is the qualification for?

Simply anyone who needs an alcohol license. 

Anyone who wishes to sell alcohol or authorises others (staff) to sell alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence.

Selling alcohol by retail will include all On-sales or Off-sales from: Pubs, Bars, Hotels, Restaurants, Night Clubs, Shops, Supermarkets, Entertainment venues and mail order or internet sales.

The Personal Licence Holder training

Once purchased the PLH module can be supplied instantly online. 

All users will also receive a printed handbook that contains all the information needed to pass the exam.

Once accessed, the module can be worked through at a time and place that suits the individual.

The Personal Licence Holder training covers all licensing training requirements for the Licensing Act 2003 or the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005; depending on your purchase.

Exam

Examinations are hosted in Pearson VUE test centres - the largest network of test centres in the UK, which exclusively hosts PLH Online qualifications.
The Personal Licence Holder examination consists of 40 multiple choice questions, takes 1 hour and is sat online in a Pearson VUE Test Centre situated in various locations throughout the UK.
