The Company now offers an outstanding opportunity to help make the best possible start to a career with them within their Sales and Marketing Department. On the job training will be provided with duties including producing accurate and competitive tenders in accordance with Customer requirementsand internal procedures. The successful Candidate will review and understand Customer specifications, primarily for the global power and oil industries and transfer their requirements into proposal format. You will assist in the closing of orders in an efficient manner in addition to providing product support to regional sales staff. You will be capable of liaising with customers, suppliers and other internal departments to ensure commercial and technical solutions are offered.

The successful applicant will have a mechanical engineering qualification, preferably to degree standard. Relevant experience in the oil and power industries will also be required, however applicants with only a placement year of experience will certainly be considered. You will have the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts and have commercial awareness of the industry. Excellent communication skills and great enthusiasm will be required together with a flexible approach, working hard to meet customer deadlines. Proficiency with MS Office computer software applications will be required.
