Banking Lawyer

Outstanding opportunity for an experienced banking lawyer to join the Edinburgh based banking team of a global law firm ranked in the top 15 of UK law firms.

With a minimum of 5 years experience you will handle matters of acquisition finance, including advising corporate borrowers and private equity investors on the funding of public and private acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions, corporate lending and real estate finance including acting for banks, other financial institutions and corporate borrowers on development and investment funding transactions, the financing and transfer of large property portfolios and other property-related structured financing transactions. You can expect to enjoy exposure to high quality work that is on par with the depth and value of London quality work.

Ideally candidates will have general experience in banking and more specific experience of acquisition finance, corporate lending and real estate finance gained in a City firm. A team player, you will have a strong client focused approach, be commercially aware and keen to be involved in business development.
