Are you an experienced Chef looking for a leadership role in a relaxed, all-day brasserie setting? We are seeking a Head Chef to join our client in North Ayrshire. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of food quality, leading the kitchen team, and ensuring a seamless culinary experience for guests.

Responsibilities within your new role as Head Chef

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver outstanding dishes consistently.
  • Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain optimal levels of stock control and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all COSHH, HACCP, and EHO guidelines for food safety and hygiene.
  • Collaborate closely with management to exceed company standards and guest expectations.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated expertise in a fast-paced fresh food setting, adept at managing high-volume service. They should possess a deep passion for delivering consistently exceptional and high-quality cuisine. Strong leadership capabilities are essential, including the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills and superior time management abilities are also key attributes. Moreover, they should exhibit a creative flair, contributing innovative ideas for specials and menu development.
