Responsibilities within your new role as Commis Chef

  • Completing the setup for food preparation in your designated section to ensure efficiency.
  • Maintaining the use of top-quality ingredients in daily food preparations.
  • Staying informed about new products, recipes, and advanced preparation methods.
  • Notifying the Head Chef of surplus ingredients available for incorporation into daily specials.
  • Safely and responsibly operating all kitchen equipment.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year of experience as a Commis Chef within a comparable hotel setting. This role entails a key responsibility of cooking and preparing high-quality menu items efficiently and punctually. The individual will be tasked with ensuring that food is not only delicious but also presented attractively, maintaining the standards expected in a prestigious hotel environment.
