If you have a passion for creating exceptional dishes and want to be part of our client’s esteemed golf club, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for a skilled Commis Chef for a fantastic sporting venue in Ayrshire.

 

Your rate of pay and hours of work

The salary for this position is £15 per hour, which is paid on a weekly basis with holiday pay accrued. Shifts will consist of 3 days per week, scheduled between Monday and Friday, with shift times ranging from 08:00 to 18:00, equating to approximately 25 hours of work per week. 

 

Responsibilities in your new role as a Chef

  • Preparing and cooking meals for golf club members, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assisting with menu planning, taking into account seasonal availability and member preferences.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We require candidates to have a minimum of 1 year of experience at the Chef de Partie level. While previous experience in a golf club or similar setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A solid understanding of food safety regulations and procedures is essential.
