Responsibilities within your new role

This role is pivotal to the business’s overall success, with responsibilities in all departments. You will be a vital part of the hotel’s operations team, ensuring a smooth day-to-day running of the resort.

You will be working alongside a great team and other Heads of Departments to ensure all departments are working in a positive, productive, friendly and fun environment, whilst ensuring a unique and memorable high-end service is always delivered to guests, in all areas of the hotel. On top of this, you will conduct staff training and ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

As the Assistant Operations Manager you are a strong communicator and can lead from the front. Your professional and enthusiastic attitude inspires your colleagues to work to the best of their ability. You are comfortable and competent at dealing with guest queries and complaints in a professional manner and have a great understanding of providing exceptional service while working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to train others, manage a team, host daily team briefings, create a positive working environment and food and beverage knowledge makes you an outstanding professional. 

You will ideally come from a background of Duty/Operations Management within a hotel or food and beverage venue and have a track record in managing a successful operation.
