Electronic Technician Jobs

Electronic technicians are involved in designing, repairing and modifying electronic systems according to customers specifications.  They will build systems, then dynamically test, monitor and upgrade equipment/procedures as necessary.

Electronic technicians can also be involved in designing and de-bugging.  Key skills for this role are soldering and assembling of electronic components, troubleshooting and solving electrical/mechanical failures to component level along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists.

As a large proportion of this role can be taken up with testing an ability to operate test equipment and understand data from test equipment is required.
